A Mandatory First-Aid and Safety Awareness Training will be held at the MANDATORY IN-PERSON Managers/Coaches meeting.  All Managers, Coaches and Board Members are required to be in attendance.

All Managers and Coaches are required to complete the following four online courses by February 7th.

Once you have completed ALL 4 COURSES, please email your completion certificates to the Safety Officer (Dave Shank) at [email protected]. 

IMPORTANT: Teams are not eligible to practice or take the field for game play until completion certificates have been submitted via email to the NMVLL Safety Officer at [email protected]. 

1) Online Concussion Training (required every 2 years) shares the latest guidance on concussion safety and prevention.  The training provides essential information to help coaches spot signs and symptoms of possible concussions and steps to take if one occurs.


2) Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention (required every 2 years) is training mandated by California law for school and community youth sports coaches, officials and administrators. PLEASE NOTE: taking this training on your phone vs. laptop device may restrict functionality, for example, you likely will not be able to download the certificate on your phone.



3) Diamond Leader Training (required annually) 


4) Abuse Awareness Training (Required Annually)
