NMVLL Families,

We are very happy to announce that we are moving forward with a full season, which will also include Tournament of Champions and All-Stars!  Thanks to the reduced COVID numbers we are now permitted in the county to conduct both practices and games!

More information to come soon on Opening Day but it will be sometime in March.

Further, we are announcing a lower Registration Fee for the 2021 Spring Season of just $95.   This reduced fee - less than half of our normal Spring Ball fees -  helps us as the League cover our costs for:

  • Uniforms to include practice shirt with name & number on the back and team name on the front
  • Flex-fit hat, belt and socks
  • Insurance & Charter fees
  • Fencing, field maintenance and equipment

You can expect to receive an emailed invoice through SportsEngine sometime early next week - it will be sent to the email you used to register your child for NMVLL.

For those who paid in full in the winter we will process a partial refund to get you to $95.

We appreciate your patience with the process, and ask that you and your families still adhere to COVID protocols like masking and social distancing.  As communicated through your coaches there is a mandatory Consent Form that must be signed and returned for your child to participate.

These guidelines come from our District 68 Administrator:

All Adults on the playing field are required to wear a mask at all times, this includes Managers, Coaches and Umpires. The umpires will enforce this during the pregame and game activities.

All players will be wearing a mask while they are in the dugout or any place on the field while waiting to participate in the field or batting. (NOTE:  this means players do not have to wear masks while fielding when on defense or while batting while on offense.  They would wear a mask while in the on-deck circle).  This will be enforced by the Managers and Coaches.

If an umpire notices a non-participating player not wearing his mask, the umpire will ask the Managers or Coaches to make the player put on his mask.

All players fielded will be required to Social Distance while not participating in the playing of the game.  The players Social Distancing will be enforced by the Managers and Coaches.

Spectators will be required to Social Distance while watching the games and must wear a mask walk to and from their observation points. Only Family Groups will be allowed to sit together. The leagues should designate observation areas for the parents; which will not be in the vicinity of the players. The enforcement of this will be done by the League Board of Directors.

Remember, we are required to observe these guidelines to allows us to play games under the Purple Tier.  When we move into the Red Tier, a new set of guidelines will be sent out. Enforcement allows us to keep playing.

We ask that you respect these guidelines so we can continue to have the kids on the fields.

Dad's and Lad's Umpire Program

NMVLL is happy to introduce the Dad's and Lad's Umpire Program!  This year, we will allow all league age 12 year old Major players to Umpire Single A games with their Dad or Mom.  All you as a parent need to do is go into our CGI Umpire assignment program, register yourself and pick a game you and your son would like to umpire together.  Locate your name as Umpire 1 and manually write in your son's name as Umpire 2.  We will not offer payment to the youth umpire for this game but their Majors team will receive points for you and he umpiring the game.  This is a great way for our future Jr. Umpires to get some experience umpiring before next year.  If you have any questions please contact Cris Paffrath at
