NMVLL Families,
Although we will not be having Opening Day ceremonies this year due to COVID restrictions our first official day of League play begins at 9am on Saturday, March 13th.
Families are welcome to come and cheer on their players but we must ask you to respect the COVID protocols we are playing under. You can find those elsewhere here on the page.
Please note that invoices were emailed to you via SportsEngine on Tuesday, March 2nd for the 2021 Spring Season fee of $95. The email went to the email address you used to register your child, so please check your Spam or Junk folders in case it was redirected. We ask that you pay your fees before game play begins on the 13th. Coaches will be following up at practice.
Note that this reduced fee - less than half of our normal Spring Ball fees - helps us as the League cover our costs for:
We appreciate your patience with the process, and ask that you and your families still adhere to COVID protocols like masking and social distancing. As communicated through your coaches there is a mandatory Consent Form that must be signed and returned for your child to participate.
You may direct any questions to info@nmvll.org.
Thank you for your support,
Your NMVLL Volunteer Board

We will be holding a Youth umpire meeting in the coming weeks and there will be a Junior umpire clinic on March 13th at 2pm on the Upper Gilleran fields.
Youth umpires should be at least 12 years old and not currently on a Majors team.
These guidelines come from our District 68 Administrator:
All Adults on the playing field are required to wear a mask at all times, this includes Managers, Coaches and Umpires. The umpires will enforce this during the pregame and game activities.
All players will be wearing a mask while they are in the dugout or any place on the field while waiting to participate in the field or batting. (NOTE: this means players do not have to wear masks while fielding when on defense or while batting while on offense. They would wear a mask while in the on-deck circle). This will be enforced by the Managers and Coaches.
If an umpire notices a non-participating player not wearing his mask, the umpire will ask the Managers or Coaches to make the player put on his mask.
All players fielded will be required to Social Distance while not participating in the playing of the game. The players Social Distancing will be enforced by the Managers and Coaches.
Spectators will be required to Social Distance while watching the games and must wear a mask walk to and from their observation points. Only Family Groups will be allowed to sit together. The leagues should designate observation areas for the parents; which will not be in the vicinity of the players. The enforcement of this will be done by the League Board of Directors.
Remember, we are required to observe these guidelines to allows us to play games under the Purple Tier. When we move into the Red Tier, a new set of guidelines will be sent out. Enforcement allows us to keep playing.
We ask that you respect these guidelines so we can continue to have the kids on the fields.
