LEAGUE ADMIN
Getting Started:
Registration for spring play begins in November.
Tryouts are approximately the first weekend in January (for those players 7-16 yr.)
Practice begins in early February.
League Boundaries
Games
Games are played (2 a week) from early March until mid-June.
Games that have been postponed due to inclement weather or poor field conditions are rescheduled (except T-ball)– sometimes over spring break.
Snack Bar
Each family is required to work at least one shift in the snack bar, per player.
Our snack bar is our second greatest form of revenue. This revenue helps to keep our fees down, our fields groomed, and our teams so well outfitted - with both equipment and uniforms.
Each team receives “points” for meeting their obligation. If the team does not accrue enough “points”, that team may be ineligible for post season play.
Background Checks
To insure the safety of our children, Little League Baseball requires a background check of all volunteers that come in contact with children. (Therefore, all parents should fill out the volunteer application).
Field Closures
In case of inclement weather, we will post field status on the web site and league line as soon as possible. On weekdays, we must await notification from the city and status will be posted as close to 2pm as possible. On weekends, a determination is announced as close to 7:15am as possible.
