Dear NMVLL Parents,
With the second half of the season well under way, the games are getting more competitive, closer and exciting. Standings now come into play as we jockey for positions in the Tournament. I find this a good time to remind everyone of the importance of our behavior in the stands as parents and spectators. Our job as a parent/spectator is to support, encourage and cheer our kids on, not to coach form the stands and not criticize the umpires. I am attaching the “Parent Code of Conduct” that each of us agreed to when registering our children. I ask that you take a few minutes to read it and refresh yourselves of North Mission Viejo Little League’s policies.
Please remember that this game is about the kids and that every manager, coach and umpire on the field is a volunteer. Please treat him or her with respect.
So far it has been a great season. I have heard some wonderful feedback from the higher level umpires about our fans and coaches. Let’s continue to make North known for the positive, supportive family environment we have always had at our fields!
Thank you for your continued support this season.
Code of Conduct was attached to this post.
